1. Information We Collect
When you create an account, we collect your name, username, and email address. When you add vehicles to your garage, we store that vehicle data associated with your account. We do not collect payment information directly.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to operate FaultFix, including displaying your garage, profile, and reputation. We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We may use your email address to send transactional messages such as password resets and, with your consent, product updates.
3. Cookies & Tracking
FaultFix uses a session cookie required for login functionality. We use Cloudflare Turnstile on authentication forms, which is privacy-preserving and does not require a Google account. We do not use advertising trackers or third-party analytics that profile you across the web.
4. Data Sharing
We share data only with service providers necessary to operate the site (including Cloudflare for DDoS protection and CDN delivery). We will disclose information when required by law.
5. Data Retention
Your account data is retained for as long as your account exists. You may delete your account at any time from your Profile page. Upon deletion, your personal data is permanently removed within 30 days.
6. Security
We use industry-standard security practices including HTTPS, secure HTTP headers, rate limiting, and bcrypt password hashing. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Children
FaultFix is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Continued use of FaultFix after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
