1. Acceptance

By using FaultFix (“the Service”), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

FaultFix is a vehicle diagnostic reference tool. We provide information about diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs), vehicle symptoms, and community-sourced part recommendations. Information on FaultFix is for general reference only and is not a substitute for professional mechanical advice.

3. Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You must provide accurate information when registering. You may not create accounts for others without their consent or impersonate any person.

4. User Contributions

By submitting part numbers, fixes, or other content, you grant FaultFix a worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute that content in connection with the Service. You must not submit content that is false, misleading, infringing, or illegal.

5. Accuracy Disclaimer

Vehicle diagnostic information on FaultFix is provided “as is” and may contain errors. Always consult a qualified mechanic before performing repairs. FaultFix is not liable for damage to vehicles, property, or persons resulting from reliance on information found on the Service.

6. Prohibited Conduct

You may not: scrape or bulk-download data without permission; attempt to circumvent security measures; use the Service to harass others; or submit spam, malware, or illegal content.

7. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms at our sole discretion.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, FaultFix and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Disputes shall be resolved in the jurisdiction where FaultFix operates.

10. Changes

We may modify these Terms at any time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
