No Start

The engine cranks but will not start, or the engine does not crank at all. Could be electrical, fuel, or ignition related.

Dead or weak battery
Failed starter motor
No fuel pressure (fuel pump failure)
Failed crankshaft position sensor
Bad ignition switch or security system issue
Failed camshaft position sensor

A weak battery that fails load testing should be replaced. Always test charging system before assuming battery is the issue.

If the engine cranks slowly or clicks with a good battery, the starter motor may be failing.

The CKP sensor tells the ECU when to fire injectors and ignition. Failure causes intermittent or permanent no-start.
