Service Transmission / Transmission Warning Light
Description
Transmission warning light or "Service Transmission" message on the dash. Transmission may enter limp mode allowing only one or two gears.
Common Causes
Failed shift solenoid
Low or overheated transmission fluid
Failed transmission range sensor
Internal mechanical fault in transmission
